Effective date: June 1, 2026 · Applies to all SE1 platforms — web, PWA, Android, and any future desktop or iOS version.
SE1 (“SE1”, “we”, “us”) operates the non-custodial cryptocurrency swap and bridge interface available at https://se1.tech, as an installable web app (PWA), through the SE1 Android application distributed on Google Play, and through any future desktop or iOS version. This single policy applies identically across all SE1 platforms, current and future. It explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use SE1 — including wallet connections, swaps, and bridges.
Wallet addresses. When you connect a wallet (via WalletConnect / Reown, a browser extension, or a Bitcoin wallet), your public wallet address is shared with the interface. We use it to display balances, fetch quotes, and construct the transactions you approve. Private keys and seed phrases never leave your wallet and are never transmitted to us.
Transaction statistics. When a swap or bridge is executed through SE1, we record anonymised statistics: transaction type, chain, USD volume, the SE1 fee amount, an optional referral code, and a timestamp. We do not link these statistics to any personal identity.
Ambassador & admin sign-ins. Ambassadors and administrators authenticate with a Sign-In-With-Ethereum (SIWE) signature. We store the signing wallet address and sign-in timestamps to attribute referral earnings and secure the dashboard. No password or personal detail is collected.
Technical data. Like any web service, our servers may temporarily process your IP address and standard request metadata to serve content, prevent abuse, and rate-limit requests. We do not build profiles from this data.
What we do NOT collect: names, email addresses, phone numbers, government IDs, KYC documents, precise location, contacts, photos, or any data from your device beyond what is listed above.
We use the information described above solely to:
We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data. We do not use your data for advertising.
Transactions you sign are broadcast to public blockchains (Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Solana, Bitcoin). Blockchain records — including your wallet address, transaction amounts, and counterparties — are public, permanent, and outside SE1’s control. SE1 cannot edit or delete on-chain data.
To provide quotes and routing, the interface communicates directly with third-party services. Depending on the action you take, your wallet address and IP address may be visible to:
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We choose providers that require no account or personal data from end users.
SE1 does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies and does not run third-party analytics trackers. We use your browser’s local storage only for functional preferences — for example remembering a dismissed notice, a referral code you followed, your selected chain, and your wallet session. You can clear this at any time through your browser or by disconnecting your wallet.
The limited server-side data we hold (anonymised transaction statistics and ambassador sign-in records) is stored in access-controlled databases and transmitted exclusively over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS). We follow the principle of data minimisation: we keep statistics only for as long as needed for accounting, ambassador payouts, and legal compliance, after which they may be aggregated or deleted.
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests can be satisfied quickly — contact us using the details below. Note that we cannot modify or erase public blockchain records.
SE1 is not directed at children and may not be used by anyone under 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this policy as the product or the law evolves. The current version will always be published at https://se1.tech/privacy with an updated effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the interface.
